Hola everyone,
We are in Zacapa, Guatemala and I love it here! Today though, we were doing a whole base clean up. I was put on the weeding team in the blistering sun. Our last job was to weed a cement drive way that was completely covered in weeds. There were eight of us working on it but it took forever and it was soooooo hot we were dying, but we did have a umbrella hat that we took turns using.  Once we finished we all went to our patio and ate mango popsicles that we had frozen in cups the night earlier. They were really delicious! While we are here we are staying in House 1, which is a giant house, it also has a giant porch that we have furnished with cushioned chairs, couches and tables. We decided that if we are living here for two months we might as well make it home.

Zacapa, Guatemala

This is for Vicki,
This blog is about Zacapa so I can convince you to send Taylor. Zacapa is a capital city is the state of zacapa. We stay at a orphanage called House of Hope or Casa de Esperanza. It is super safe there and there are a bunch of kids. Every afternoon we play a gaint soccer game and then eat dinner all together. When teams come to stay at the base we become the cooks. Last year we made food for 175 people every meal, it was really fun though.
